The Bokourdane dam, which is the focs of the study(Abundance and Diversity of Rotifers), can be regarded as a reservoir and serves asa privileged model for understanding biodiversity. Rotifer sampling was conducted over seven months from September 2024 to March 2025 using a 50 µm plankton net. The study of zooplankton colonization in the Boukourdane Dam allowed the identification of 33 species belonging tothe zoological group: rotifers. For the analysis of the results, ecological structure indices were used: the Shannon-Weaver index and the evenness index. These indices reflect the ecosystemic state of the rotifers, among which an equilibrium of rotifer population is observed during the month of February. Nevertheless, an ecosystem imbalance was observed during the other months of the study. |
