| Résumé : |
This study aims to contribute to the ecological understanding of the gilthead seabream Sparus aurata, commonly known as the dorade royale, produced through aquaculture. The primary objective is to assess the influence of environmental conditions, contaminants, and farming practices on the biology, health quality, and nutritional value of this marine species. The research adopts a multidisciplinary approach, combining physico-chemical analyses of seawater, contaminant assessments (particularly trace metals), bacteriological indicators, and nutritional evaluations of fish flesh. Data were collected at the El Mokretar Aqua farm—described in detail in the study—using standardized protocols for microbiological and chemical monitoring. Parameters such as temperature, salinity, conductivity, suspended solids, nutrient concentrations, and the presence of metallic pollutants were measured. In parallel, the bioaccumulation of trace metals in Sparus aurata tissues was analyzed. The results reveal significant correlations between certain environmental parameters and the biological and nutritional quality of the fish. The study highlights the potential effects of marine pollution on the food chain and the health risks associated with consuming farmed fish raised in contaminated environments. |
