| Résumé : |
The triploid Pacific oyster Magallana gigas, selected in hatcheries, is cultivated in many countries due to its rapid growth, tolerance to environmental conditions, and increased resistance to disease. In Algeria, the shellfish farm SPA Cultures Marines, located in the center of the Algerian coast, raises triploid oysters imported from foreign hatcheries. The objective of this study is to monitor an oyster farming cycle in Kouali (Wilaya of Tipaza), using the string farming technique, in order to assess the influence of environmental parameters on the growth and survival of oysters. The study includes monitoring the physical, chemical, and biological parameters of the environment, as well as analyzing the growth (length and weight), condition indices, and mortality of the Magallana gigas oysters being farmed. The results obtained show that triploid oysters develop favorably in the conditions offered by the site, with significant growth influenced by physical and chemical factors and the trophic richness of the marine environment. |
