| Résumé : |
The aim of this work is to understand the effect of water stress on the polyphenol and flavonoid content and the antioxidant and antibacterial activity of the hydroalcoholic extract of the needles of the species pinus pinea L.
This study is carried out on four levels of water stress applied to the four pinus pinea L plants, identified according to soil water saturation at 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%.
The results obtained in the first part (Determination of polyphenols and flavonoids) show a decrease in polyphenol content in plants subjected to intense stress at 50% and 25% (P2: 19.48 mg EAG/g ES, and P3: 16.25 mg EAG/g ES), and an increase in flavonoid content with increasing water stress intensity.
In the second part studies on antioxidant activity by the test (DPPH), whose more stressed levels gave the highest antioxidant activity, is antimicrobial activity was carried out by the method of diffusion disks in agar medium, and determines on four microbial strains, the plant that exposes a moderate water stress having a microbial activity more students than the plant subjected to intense water stress.
