The coursebook is an introduction to the discipline of linguistic. It comprises twelve units, and each unit of the course focuses on a particular aspect of linguistics and language, its object of study. Both teachers and students will find appropriate texts to illustrate each point of the programme and at the same time have at their disposal exercises and activities based on the Task Based Approach to language teaching. To help teachers and students, the book provides guidance notes on how to use the suggested materials and what the expected outcomes are, they are also supplied with answers to all the exercises and activities, which could make thes materials self-instrictional for students. |
