| Résumé : |
Drinking water quality is crucialfor caterers and distributors, but supply networks are ex posed to a biodegradable flow and microorganisms, particularly heterotrophs, adapt to oligotrophic environments and can coloniz drinking water distribution networks. The aim of this study was to investigate and identify bacterial biofilms isolated from drinking water distribution networks in the Tipaza region. To study and identify the biofilms formed, nine samples were selected according to region and material. Mechanical sampling was carried out on several distribution networks: copper, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE); and from different regions( Douaouda,Hadjout and Gouraya). Various bacterial strains were identified using the MALDI-TOF method. According to the results obtained, copper pipes appear to be poorly suited tobacterial colonization, while a wide diversity of bacterial species was referenced on PVC and HDPE materials. The ability of isolated strains to create biofilms in the laboratory was also examined . Most of the isolated strains grown in single and mixed biofilms demonstrated a high ability to create biofilms. Three bacterial strains were selected for evaluation of their sensivity to antibiotics. |
